The Venezuela Flag found its roots in 1811 when the country was struggling to gain its independence. The flag is made of horizontal bands of yellow, blue, and red. The Venezelan Flag has changed over time including the addition of stars as well as the placement of those stars and the coat of arms at the upper-left corner.
The Venezuela Flag has a tremendous amount of symbolism as the yellow band represents the wealth of the land, the blue represents courage, and the red stands for the independence from Spain.
